Stark Tutoring Services
The Tutoring Center at Kent State Stark provides free walk-in tutoring for all levels of math courses. In addition, students may request tutoring in any subject area and we will find a qualified tutor for them.
Peer tutors assist students with:
- homework assignments
- help clarifying lecture and classroom material
- reviewing for exams
Some math professors tutor students by holding their office hours in the Tutoring Center. For students who need help with effective study strategies, faculty tutors are also available. Visit the Tutoring Center as soon as you feel you may need help.
Summer Tutoring Hours
Intersession:
All tutoring for Intersession, including math, is by appointment. Use the link below to schedule your appointment.
Summer I, II, III: Walk-In Math Tutoring
Monday - Tuesday: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Wednesday - Thursday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Fridays and 8 a.m. appointments will be by request.
