This three-day certification workshop includes lectures, practical demonstrations and written and practical exams. This course will help prepare you for both AFAA's Personal Fitness Trainer Certification and the Personal Fitness Trainer National Boards.

AFAAâ€™s Primary Group Exercise Certification is designed to equip those seeking to become certified as group exercise instructors with the competencies needed to design safe and effective group exercise programming for the general healthy population. This gold standard, fully-accredited (both exam* and program**) and globally recognized certification course is appropriate for instructors who teach free-form and/or pre-choreographed programs.
AFAA G.E.A.R. INDOOR CYCLING TRAINING WORKSHOP
Saturday, Nov. 3: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
This one-day onsite workshop includes the latest research on cycling biomechanics and physiology, as well as a variety of drills and techniques with an emphasis on long-term safety, injury prevention and results. G.E.A.R combines theoretical knowledge, practical training and creative ideas for designing a safe and effective indoor cycling class that is new and exciting.

This informative workshop gives instructors the tools to create inspiring vinyasa yoga classes that are founded on flow yet grounded in the safety of exercise science. The learning includes physical execution, transitions, and modifications to traditional yoga poses with an emphasis on effectiveness and safety.
