Meeting with Financial Aid
Students wishing to meet with a Kent State Stark financial aid specialist do not need to schedule an appointment. Students are helped on a walk-in basis during regular office hours.
Office Hours
While classes are in session:
Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
While classes are not in session (holiday breaks):
Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Students and families are welcome to call the office during regular office hours to have their questions answered, or they may email their questions to any of the financial aid staff members listed below.
Scholarships
Kent State Stark offers scholarships to our incoming freshman students as well as to our current student population. See what we have to offer you!
Using grants, loans or work-study during the summer may affect how much financial aid you have available for fall and/or spring. Before applying for summer aid, you may want to speak with a member of the financial aid staff to see how your future aid may be affected.
You must file a 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) and register for your summer classes before summer aid can be processed.
Complete the Summer Financial Aid Request Form online here. This form should be completed by March 15 in order to meet priority processing and summer tuition deadlines. The last day to request summer financial aid is Aug. 13.
