Partnerships

The Professional Education and Conference Center has been financed with a bond issue and a combination of capital allocations from the state legislature through the Ohio Board of Regents.

In addition, partnerships and private gifts continue to contribute to the future success of the Center. The most important priority for the Stark Campus is to secure the quality of the Center in perpetuity. With contributions from businesses, corporations and private citizens, Kent State Stark will be able to continue to enhance economic development opportunities throughout Stark County and the region. With these funds, Stark County's businesses and organizations will ultimately be the beneficiaries now and in the next century.

A $3 million gift for the Center will provide a donor with the unique opportunity to continue their legacy in the community with a name placed on the exterior of the building. In addition, partners are also recognized through the naming of rooms.

The Center, which is part of a nonprofit organization whose primary responsibility is to serve the community, operates to cover all expenses. The Center does not require the University's financial resources to exist. Therefore, meeting package rates are competitive for this state-of-the-art facility.
