To enroll at Kent State Stark as a transfer student, the following items are necessary to complete your application for admission:
Official Transcripts
Transcripts are considered official only if they arrive in a sealed envelope from a high school, college or university. Transcripts issued directly to the student will be accepted only if the envelope is unopened. Once the envelope seal has been broken by someone other than a university employee, the transcript becomes unofficial.
Official transcripts should be sent to the following address:

All new transfer students must meet with an academic advisor before registering for classes. Transfer students must supply college transcripts to their academic advisor. In some cases, transfer students may be asked to complete COMPASS placement testing prior to registration.

CAS - Course Applicability System
Are you wanting to know what courses you've taken will transfer to Kent State University? If your prior institution(s) participate in the CAS network, you may be able to find out.
CAS takes higher education institutions to a new level in student services. CAS provides the ability to publish Course Equivalency Guides, Academic Programs, Courses Offered, Transfer Course Evaluations and Degree Audit Reporting in a Web environment. Information is easily retrieved from a CAS site on the internet by students, faculty and the interested public. Students contemplating a transfer may submit their course work to any institution within the CAS network for evaluation against that institution's academic programs. CAS provides information on courses, course equivalencies and program requirements at a CAS institution to anyone who accesses CAS. For students who become a CAS Member, CAS provides information on how their specific course work will transfer and apply towards a degree at a CAS institution.
