Kent State Stark's incoming freshman scholarships are awarded on the basis of high school academic performance. These partial and full-tuition scholarships do not require repayment and are often renewable for one additional year if academic expectations are met.

The scholarships linked below are available to incoming new freshman students (2008 high school graduates) who will attend Kent State Stark for the 2008-2009 academic year. These scholarships are for the Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 semesters only. They are not available for Summer 2008 or Summer 2009.

You will be considered for a scholarship if you have been admitted to Kent State University and your complete scholarship application materials have been received. Scholarship applications are considered together in a competitive awarding process by members of the Kent State Stark Freshman Scholarship Selection Committee.

The 2008-2009 Freshman Scholarship Application deadline is March 3, 2008. All application materials must be postmarked by March 3, 2008. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants will be notified of their scholarship eligibility at the end of March.
