The Kent State Stark Office of Financial Aid will host a Financial Aid Information Session for students and families interested in applying for financial aid for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Information Session: Funding Your Education
During the 45-minute Funding Your Education presentation, you'll learn about:
- Financial aid resources
- How to file the FAFSA
- How financial aid is determined
- Awarding process
- Types of financial aid
- Financial aid timeline
Optional Online FAFSA Filing Workshop
An optional online FAFSA filing workshop will be available during the morning. If you are interested in filing your FAFSA at this workshop, you must bring the following items with you:
- 2011 U.S. Income Tax Returns (or estimated tax returns)
- 2011 W-2 forms
- Student's social security number
- Parents' social security numbers and dates of birth
- Sources of untaxed income
- Bank statements
- Value of stocks, bonds, etc.
- Business and farm records
