With an average student-to-teacher ratio of 19-to-1, there is no difficulty gaining access to faculty. In many universities throughout the nation, you will find teaching assistants overseeing your work in classrooms and laboratories.  By contrast, at Kent State Stark, you will have a professor right there in the class alongside you, making available the full extent of his or her knowledge and experience.

The Office of Admissions welcomes you to Kent State University Stark.

As part of Kent State's network of seven regional campuses, Kent State Stark is an open-enrollment institution, therefore, students who possess the minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent, may enroll for classes.  However, admission criteria does vary by major.

There is no deadline to apply for admission but we do encourage students to apply as early as possible. New students from high school should be applying for admission as early as Thanksgiving of their senior year for admission for the fall semester.
