Stark Advising Services
Kent State University at Stark offers extensive academic advising services to students. Full-time professional academic advisors, as well as specially trained faculty advisors,
are available to assist students. Academic advising is a fundamental part of the college experience at Kent State Stark.
Summer Advising Hours:
May 20 - August 2
Monday - Tuesday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Wednesday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Closed May 27 and July 4.
Fall Advising Hours:
August 5 - December 13
Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Closed September 2, November 11, 21 and 22.

If you are age 20 or younger and a
new freshman student starting in fall,
you will see an advisor and register
during the First Step program.
2013 Walk-In Advising Dates
During walk-in advising, you can meet with an academic advisor without having an appointment. Students must be admitted prior to participating in walk-in advising.- Thursday, June 6: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 16: 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 6: 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 14: 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 22: 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, Aug. 26: 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 27: 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
