Computer Login Information


All student lab machine and classroom computer are setup for login using your FlashLine credentials. You will need to have changed your password prior to logging in. The first time you login you will use this formula.


Your username is the first part of your Kent State email address (jsmith@kent.edu, user name is jsmith).

The formula for the default password is mmmyyxxxxx (all lower case), where:
 
mmm = first three letters of your birth month
yy = last two digits of your birth year
xxxxx = The last 5 digits of your Kent State ID Number

Your Kent State ID Number was mailed with your acceptance letter. If you do not know it you can contact Student Services by calling 330-244-3251.

If you require help logging into campus computers, please stop down to the East Wing Computer Lab Helpdesk, with a photo ID, and someone will be able to help you.
