Kent State University at Stark will host a summer blood drive with LifeShare Community Blood Services on Tuesday, July 13 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The blood drive will be held in the student parking lot adjacent to the Physical Education Facility.

Anyone who donates blood will receive either a gift card to Chipotle for a free burrito or a LifeShare t-shirt. For every 35 blood donations, Kent State Stark earns a $500 scholarship from LifeShare.

Every two seconds of every day someone needs blood, whether it is for children with sickle cell, trauma victims, selected surgeries or chemotherapy. By donating a pint of blood, you can assist in ensuring that local needs are met. Just one donation can potentially save three lives.
