Beautiful weather brought everyone out for Kentiki, Kent State Stark's beach-themed celebration sponsored by the Office of Student Life and Kent State Stark's many student organizations. Held over four days, Kentiki showcased fun, games, activities and free food for the campus community. Highlights of Kentiki included a variety show, luau, watermelon eating contest, dunk tank, mechanical shark, campus picnic, lawn games, giveaways and an outdoor movie on the lawn, The Hangover.

Through the generous donations of Kent State Stark students, faculty and staff, $1,277 was raised to help fight hunger in Stark County. All Kentiki proceeds are donated to the Stark County Hunger Task Force. Funds were raised through class donations, the variety show, luau and dunk tank.
