Kent State Stark Hosts Boo U on Thursday, Oct. 28
Posted Oct. 1, 2010Kent State University at Stark will host a family-friendly, educational fall celebration for elementary school-aged kids. Boo U, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. in the Kent State Stark Campus Center, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township.
In addition to trick-or-treating, children can participate in several fun activities, such as a coloring contest, enchanted stories, games, a swamp walk, a photo station and more. Trick-or-treating starts at the main parking lot off Frank Avenue NW. Those entering the coloring contest must print the scene from the event web page, located at www.stark.kent.edu/BooU, and bring their completed artwork to any event table. Some candy distributed during this event may contain nuts or nut products. Parents are encouraged to dress children appropriately, as activities take place both inside and outside.
