The Kent State Stark Office of Financial Aid will host a Financial Aid Information Session for students and families on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 9 a.m. in the Main Hall Auditorium.

A general financial aid information session will be held at 9 a.m. which will cover grants, student loans, scholarships, the filing and awarding process and a timeline for filing. 

An optional online FAFSA Filing Workshop will be available following the presentation at 10:30 a.m. During this workshop, you can file your FAFSA online with the assistance of the financial aid staff.

If you are interested in filing your FAFSA at this workshop, you must RSVP and bring the following items with you:

• 2010 U.S. Income Tax Returns (or estimated tax returns)
• 2010 W-2 forms
• Student's social security number
• Parents' social security numbers and dates of birth
• Sources of untaxed income
• Bank statements
• Value of stocks, bonds, etc.
• Business and farm records
