Human Resource Symposium on Thursday, July 26

In today’s competitive market, preparing yourself and your workforce for unexpected changes is critical for continued success. In response to this professional goal, The Corporate University, Kent State University at Stark presents the 2012 Human Resource Symposium to provide support and training by qualified and experienced professionals.
The Human Resource Symposium will take place on Thursday, July 26 from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at The University Center at Kent State Stark, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township.
The keynote presentation, On Becoming a Professional Human Being, will be given by Jim Bagnola, an expert in leadership and body-mind management, with an emphasis on the influence of thinking patterns on one’s health, happiness, success, personal empowerment and the capacity to lead.
A panel of local business leaders will present What Does a CEO Expect of Human Resources? Panel members include Virginia Albanese, FedEx Custom Critical; Eugene Calabria, GBS Corporation; Trina Cutter, Western Reserve Public Media; and Jeff Evans, Will-Burt Company.
The event agenda also features sessions led by experts from multiple disciplines with real-world experience. The topics include:
