Environmental Photo Contest for Kent State Stark Students

As part of the Hoover Initiative, Kent State Stark students can show off their photography skills for a chance to win a $40 Visa gift card!
Take a picture, color or black and white, illustrating the beauty of water or the challenges water faces. Consider taking your picture within the Nimishillen Creek watershed, the focus of the Hoover Initiative.
Enter your photo in one of the three photo categories: Beauty, Challenges or Nimishillen Watershed. Your image can show people interacting with water or simply illustrate water. Pictures should be taken between May 1, 2009 and April 6, 2010, anywhere in Northeast Ohio.
How to Enter
Submit your photo in .jpg format, no larger than 1MB and in the best quality possible. Save the photo with your first initial and last name.
Email your photo to ksuwatershed@gmail.com. In the subject line, enter PHOTO CONTEST and your COMPLETE NAME. In the body of the email, tell us which category you choose, when and where your photo was taken.
Only one entry per student. Deadline to submit photos is Tuesday, April 6 at 5 p.m. You must be a currently enrolled Kent State Stark to participate.
Six photos will be chosen as winners, one color and one black and white in each category. The winners will be announced at Kent State Stark's annual Earth Day Celebration on Sunday, April 18 from 1 - 4 p.m. Each winner will receive a $40 Visa gift card. All photos will be displayed in the Main Hall Art Gallery.
