Dr. Crane is an associate professor of English at the University of Cincinnati. She received her B.A. from Wittenberg University, her M.A. from Xavier University and her Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati. She is the author of Divided Lives: The Untold Stories of Jewish-Christian Women in Nazi Germany, which is a mix of historical nonfiction, first-person narratives and memoir. Her poetry and nonfiction have appeared in various publications, such as Mid-American Review, Popular Culture Review, History Magazine and e-zines. Crane has appeared on national television and radio, including C-Span’s Book-TV and NPR programs, and she has spoken at myriad public events and conferences across the country and in London. Among her many awards, she has received a Fulbright Scholarship and a P.E.O. National Scholar's Award. Currently, she is working on her next book.
