Kent State Stark has hosted a variety of diversity events.

America's Images in the World: International Perspectives
A panel of nine international students from the Kent Campus presented their views on global issues such as the war in Iraq, energy consumption, natural resources and the environment, popular culture, and political and ideological differences.

Student Scholarship in Diversity: Awards and Showcase
This award ceremony showcased student scholarship submissions focusing on diversity in culture or national origin, ethnicity or race, religious or political belief, sexual orientation or gender, class background or physical ability.  Submitted works were artistic, literary, historic, philosophical, scientific, or professional in nature.

A Study in Black and White
The musical group Roots of American Music traces the development of both black and white America. Through descriptions of the songs and the context within which they were written and performed, the group both entertained and educated the audience about our musical heritage.

Hip-Hop Is
James H. Chapmyn and company provided commentary on modern day society through the powerful and poetic use of slam style poetry and theatrical dialogue.
