Stark Chemistry Department 

Welcome to the Chemistry Department's Web Page for the Kent State University Stark campus. Our department offers coursework toward completion of the first two years of Chemistry requirements for most disciplines. In addition, we offer a course for individuals with no chemistry background to satisfy the Liberal Education requirement.

Chemistry Department Facilities at Kent Stark

All of our chemistry laboratory courses meet in room 208 East Wing. This laboratory is equipped with standard instrumentation and glassware, including:

• Perkin Elmer FTIR spectrometer
• HPLC
• UV-Visible Spectrophotometers
• Digital pH meters
• Fume hoods
